The recent move to the Mainland prompted me to re-consider the change of the topic and for a while I contemplated on picturing the subject of contentment rather than the issue of privacy. Fortunately I quickly realised that the initial feeling of the overwhelming ecstasy brought up by the long desired move had very little to do with the actual contentment and therefore the original topic is still to be kept as the subject of my next assignment. I shall tuck away safely the subject of contentment until I can actually provide the more honest personal account on it.
Thinking about the issue of privacy I would like to observe with my next assignment the major shift in the recent years towards the cyber publicity. We tend to hide away from a physical contact ('Privacy Bag'), but gladly share and open up in the cyber space. It seems that a natural human desire to share information with another human is more often fulfilled by virtual interaction than ever before.

Research point - Zed Nelson 'Gun Nation'
A combination of traditional photojournalism, setup in studio and still life photographs make up this very complex and extremely attractive set. I must say I have already considered mixing different types of portraying the elements for my privacy project and seeing 'Gun Nation' has given me the confidence to go ahead with this slightly more adventurous approach.
